Dear ALL,
I have some GREAT news!!! I have now officially started as a Power Plate Trainer. I am located at the Healthy Vibes, Hove saloon, where I hold a few classes. You will find me on most Saturdays and some other weekdays there too. However, I will give you accurate updates on Twitter & Facebook so just follow me.
For people who have never done or known of Power Plate training, this is a 30 min class where you do several different exercises covering the whole body on a Power Plate machine. The machine itself vibrates underneath you in 3 different planes causing your mascules to contract 25-50 times per second. Each exercise that you do lasts for 60 secs and they are a combination of static and dynamic movements. The routine on the machine is put together that it will challenge your motor skills such as balance and help with body figure. The vibration of the machine and the exercises will help with blood circulation, muscle strength, flexibility, decrease cellulite, bone mineral density and suitable for clients with injuries as it makes exercising easier on the joints and ligament.
They have great deals for Power Plate training and you can have your first class for FREE! We offer the following deals:
£120 for 10 classes that can be taken in the next 6 months
£75 per month for unlimited amount of classes
£190 for 24 classes for 12 weeks (taking 2 classes per week)
The Healthy Vibe Centre also offers their clients a Slim Tech machine and many MANY other facilities that helps with skin care and body figure. You can read more about the deals and facilities on their website: http://www.healthyvibes-hove.co.uk/
If you would like to talk to someone about participating in the Power Plate training and the benefits of this please do not hesitate to contact the Centre Healthy Vibes or me.
Hope to see you soon on one of my classes! Wohoooo

Blue Lagoon Boat Trip
On our Corfu, Greece holiday we went to a great boat trip with Captain Theo called the Blue Lagoon Excursion, which was pre-booked with First Choice in the UK. Need less to say it was great fun and we had a lot to see. You are collected with bus from your hotel and taken to the harbour in Corfu Town, where the boat is already waiting. Captain Theo is a hilarious guy, he made us laugh a lot of times during the cruise.
First up was the Corfu Mainland, they took us around a smaller portion of it and explained history of it and the other islands near by. This part felt a bit more like a tour but probably the cooler early morning - meaning wearing a pullover and shorts - did not help either. Everyone was just about woken up same as us so after the tour of the main land there was one and a half hour journey ahead of us to the Blue Lagoon so we got a cup of coffee on-board and took a seat in the bow of the boat. We even managed to have a nap till we arrive to the GEORGES Blue Lagoon.
It is amazing how clean the water is in Greece, you can see all the way to the bottom of the sea. Once we came to a stop Captain Theo let the leader down so we can start going swimming and started feeding fishes so they come to our boat. The sea 2 was so crystal clear that we could see every single one of them. The Blue Lagoon bay is breathtakingly beautiful! It is a MUST to see when you are in Corfu. Loads of other boats came with tourist to the same location to show the beauty of the island. Me and Levi were one of the first ones to be in the water and later on we swam to the back of the boat to enjoy the diving board and the slide that was on the board. You also had the opportunity to pay 10€ per person and enjoy the BBQ that they do on-board, which we obviously paid in for. It was sooo much FUN to jump into the water from the boat and the BBQ was delicious, we had an AMAZING time!!
From here we moved onto an island called Sivota and on our way there we visited a Cave as well. The little island in the middle of "nowhere" with a sweet harbour and cute houses. We had an hour to walk around here and enjoy the sunshine. It was a beautiful little island with quite houses, restaurants and peace everywhere. I would recommend to stay here id you want to rent an apartment and be at a peaceful, beautiful setting and be on the water most days, since you could rent a small boat and go to different islands from here.
The last stop that we had was on another part of Corfu island where there was a beautiful sandy beach. We took a last swim in the crystal clear water and once everyone was on board again the boat headed back to Corfu Town to drop us off. This excursion was AMAZING, worth ever penny, we got to see many beautiful places in one day, which we might have not otherwise. If you are looking to do something in Corfu this is one of the MUST DO's! Obviously, I also strongly recommend renting a scooter or quad bike like we did - you can read more about this on my previous blog post. If you are planning a holiday all I can say is HAVE FUN and RELAX!!!
